locates in Zhejiang Yiwu gym conference Exhibition Center, covering
an area of 17000 m2, completed in October 2001. Yiwu palaestra membrane
structure roof consists of two-shuttle membrane structure systems
including steel joist frame, volley cable, notochord, and internal
and outer cable. Each membrane structure roof consists of 13 wave
membrane units forming nature curve unit. Steel joist frame and volley
cable are connected with outer ring poles of stand ferroconcrete.
Main inter cable consists of upper strength cable and light tower
at both sides. Main inter cable is 40m high, light tower 60m high,
steel joist frame¡¯s biggest span is 49m, outer suspend 6.3m; medium
preload of inter and outer border cables are 110KN and 45KN, preload
of volley cable is 70KN; the upper movement at Main inter cable is
302mm, downward 208mm at the most unfavorable condition. |

Qingdao
Yizhong palaestra cable membrane project locates in Haier road, High
tech. Area, Qingdao, is China¡¯s first cable membrane project designed
and installed domestically. The cover is a strength membrane structure
consists of 60 tapered membrane unite. The long axis is 266m consists
of 86m beeline and arc with a radial of 90m. The short axis is 180m,
the top of pole is 42.5 m high, inter cable is 36.5m high, and cover
circumference is 40m. The membrane covers an area of 30,000 m2, can
seat 60,000 audiences, completed in July 2000. The cover consists
of steel structure support system, steel cable, and membrane. Each
unit is supported by pole, formed by volley cable, notochord, and
internal and outer cable. The project won the first prize of China
Space Structure Engineering. |

structure cover project, locates in south side of Yantai University
in Laishan District, Yantai. The stand roof consists of two identical
crescent membrane structure covers. The border roof consists of 23
membrane units. The roof covers an area of 14,774 m2, completed in
April 2002. Crescent membrane structure covers consists of two main
arch support forming main force transfer path, the frond arch is 27.6
m high, the upper arch 38.6 m high, the arch foot 6.3 m high, and
its span is 28.5 m. the entad biggest suspend span of radial 24 triangle
steel joist frame is 36 m, backward span is 8 m. The joist frame is
supported by front arch. There is a steel pole supports upper arch,
which forms main skeleton system, i.e. combined membrane structure
system. |

| ¡¡¡¡ Wuhu
palaestra roof project, which can accommodate 60,000 audiences, with
a membrane structure projection area of 20,791 m2, adopts draught
integrated cable membrane structure. It consists of main joist frame
arch, inclined joist frame, central loop cable and inclined cable
forming integrated space force system. The membrane units were formed
via drawing the valley cable, notochord, and side cable. The span
of main joist frame arch is 254 m, the biggest span high is 67 m,
and the biggest forward shoulder is 31 m. For enriching the art effects
of the construction, the stand roofs at east and west side are designed
to be anisomerous. Such a big span anisomerous cable membrane structure
is firstly used in China, which show us the promise prospect of membrane
structure construction¡¯s development. |

Huaibei Stadium Stand¡¯s canopy Project, the membranous spreading out area is 22,200©O, adopting prestressing membranous structure.
Design and cooperation unit: Huaibei City Architecture Design Academy The whole project is consisting of two crescent-shaped canopies of complete same shape. The single sideband canopy is made up of 12 canopies, adopting Japanese medium-model Chemical FGT-800PTFE membranous materials. The crescent-shaped canopy complete space force system consisting of the main suspended truss sloping pole, rope, central device, below dragger, the membranous structure is formed through the extending of notochord and side rope. The max fronting convex length of main truss is 46m, the root hinges with the top of the concrete column; the back end of the truss is connected with the stand through the rod, sloping pole supports the back end of the truss, every two sloping poles cross each other in space to hang up the top of the membranous. The adjacent trusses are connected to the lower concrete stand through two bracing members. The back pole drags the jointure point of the sloping poles, and connected with the below concrete pole through the line for dragging. The whole structure is simple and nice, demonstrating fully the features of ¡°lightness, graceful¡± of membranous structure. |

Xiamen City Workers¡¯ Stadium is located in the north of Tiyu Road, to the west of Yuxiu Road, to the south of Xianyue Road, to the east of Arts Culture Center. The membranous structure is made up of swimming pool, teniss room, handball room and vestibule. The membranous spreading area is 22,000©O.Designed and cooperated with Aoyana Engineering Consultants (Shanghai)Co.,Ltd., Beijing Branch, Tianjin City Architecture Design Academy, Xiamen Branch. Of which, swimming pool and tennis rooms are connected with each other; each is consisted of 7 and 5(totals 12) main units. The projection size of the main unit is about 9¡Á56m, the steel structure roof truss consisting of carinal canal, sloping canal, outside there is PTFE outer membrane, and of which, some parts of the swimming areas have PTFE internal membrane, handball hall is consisting of 8 standard main units and 2 triangle main units. Of which, the size of the standard main units is 12.5¡Á81m, the roof truss consisting of carinal canal, sloping canal, outside, there is PTFE outer membrane. |
